The Municipal Fellowship is a unique opportunity for both Massachusetts students and municipalities. While towns will receive dedicated support on energy transition projects at no additional cost, students will gain experience and skills in both the clean energy and municipal sector.

This six-month fellowship is designed to help municipalities navigate the complexities of the energy transition effectively, although it’s more than just an opportunity to support Massachusetts communities—it’s a chance for fellows to develop critical skills, expand their professional networks, and make a tangible impact in the clean energy space.
Fellows will:
- Gain Hands-On Experience – Work directly with municipal leaders and community stakeholders to implement real-world energy transition projects.
- Build Expertise in Key Areas – Deepen knowledge in electrification, geothermal energy, policy, grant writing, finance, and more, while applying these skills to meaningful projects.
- Receive Mentorship and Professional Development – Benefit from training sessions, expert mentorship, and career-building workshops designed to enhance technical and leadership skills.
- Expand Their Network – Connect with like-minded professionals, industry leaders, and municipal officials to open doors for future opportunities.

Host a Fellow
