2025-2026 Permit Options and Costs

Please reference the tables below to determine the cost of your decal. All student decals expire on May 31 and Faculty and Staff decals expire on August 31.

Decals for students are prorated monthly using the schedule provided below.

University funds may not be used to pay for parking for any individual. This includes, but is not limited to: Pro-Cards, Operational Funds, and Discretionary Funds.

All second permits for commuter students are $20 and must be purchased in person. They cannot be ordered online. To obtain a second permit, please visit our office and bring the vehicle registration for a car owned by an immediate family member. Residential Students are not eligible for second permits and should utilize day passes for any temporary vehicle changes. Permits are not required for students to park in the summer (June - August) or after 3 p.m. in the Upper Class Commuter Surface Lots (Riverside Lot A, Riverside Lot B, and the Broadway / Riverview Lot).

Research, Teaching and Graduate Assistants in the Graduate Employee Organization (GEO) collective bargaining unit shall pay $60 per semester via payroll deduction on a bi-weekly basis.

Faculty and Staff are required to enroll in a pre-taxed payroll deduction for 24 pay periods (except adjunct faculty, see below) beginning September 1. Decals purchased after September 1 are prorated beginning at the time of order.

Emeritus Faculty / Retired Staff are required to pay by credit card online, or check / credit card in our office.

All additional decals for employees are provided at no cost up to three vehicles.

***The Group Discount Rate determined by the City of Lowell and subject to increase annually or mid-academic year.

****Adjunct Faculty and Emeritus Faculty may also opt to pay $400 and gain access to all faculty/staff lots, including Costello / Pinanski, subject to Provost approval.
