Academic Year Applications
Students who plan to live on campus for the academic year (both fall and spring semesters) should complete the academic year housing application available on the Online Housing Portal. This application becomes available as of November 1 for the next academic year and there is no application fee. Students must submit an application by the priority deadline below to be considered for a Living Learning Community (LLC) and participate in roommate and room self-selection. We will not be able to allow students who apply after the priority deadlines below to participate in a LLC or roommate matching/room selection.

- Returning students should complete their housing application prior to March 31
- New students should complete their housing application prior to May 5
Housing Availability
Housing is limited to the capacity of the current residence halls, and completing the housing application does not guarantee a space on campus. Students who submit their housing application by the published priority deadline have historically been able to select both their roommate and room without being placed on a waitlist. Applications received after the priority deadline are not eligible for roommate or room selection, and students may be placed on a waitlist if housing demand exceeds available space.
Housing Waitlist
If housing demand exceeds available space, students who apply after all spaces are filled will be placed on a waitlist. The waitlist is organized based on two factors: the date the application was completed and the student’s distance from campus. Waitlisted students will not be given their exact position on the list but will receive periodic updates about expected housing availability as information becomes available. Students on the waitlist are subject to all housing application policies and may choose to remain on the waitlist, cancel their application, or defer their application to the upcoming spring semester.
Priority Deadline
The housing application does not close, and students may apply for on-campus housing at any time. However, if applying after the priority deadline, students are not able to participate in roommate matching, room selection, and to be considered for a Living Learning Community. Instead, these students will be assigned to any available space by the housing team. If no spaces are available, they will be placed on the waitlist until availability changes.
We look forward to having you stay on campus with us. Within the housing application, you'll be able to complete your basic information, room and living-learning community preferences, and review/digitally sign your license agreement (pdf).
