Sign up via email: ptclinic@uml.edu 

  • Appointments are available during the Fall and Spring academic semesters on the following days:
    • Mondays: 4-6 p.m.
    • Tuesdays: 4-6 p.m.
    • Thursdays: 4-6 p.m.
    • Fridays: 1-3 p.m.
  • The clinic is located in Riverview Suites, Room 148
  • No primary care physician referral is required and the services are free to UMass Lowell employees.
  • Our staff adheres to all state and federal guidelines to protect confidentiality and privacy.

Students Gain Experience Before Clinicals

The UMass Lowell Physical Therapy Student Clinic is proud to deliver high-quality and evidence-based care to UMass Lowell students, faculty and staff. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) students in the Department of Physical Therapy and Kinesiology gain experience working with patients before clinicals under the guidance of Massachusetts licensed physical therapists. The UMass Lowell community receives free physical therapy services while helping students learn.

Students Practice Interacting, Admitting and Treating Patients

Faculty in the Department of Physical Therapy and Kinesiology designed the clinical experience for first- and second-year DPT students to practice interacting, admitting and treating patients prior to their formal clinical education assignments. Second-year DPT students also provide peer-to-peer mentorship to the first-year students.
