Please visit our How to Apply webpage for details. The Department of Music offers the Bachelor of Music with an emphasis in Sound Recording Technology. The Sound Recording Technology (SRT) program has been training successful audio professionals for over fourty year. Alumni of the program have achieved the highest levels of success in many audio-related industry segments including music production and recording, audio for visual and interactive media (film, television, and video games), even audio/live sound, broadcast audio, audio system design, acoustic consultation and desigh, audio software and hardware design, audio education, and consumer audio fields.

In addition to numerous courses related to the art and technology of recording, the program combines studies in physics, electrical engineering, computer science, and advanced mathematics with traditional studies in music. Small class sizes ensure that students work directly with the permanent faculty throughout their SRT studies. The SRT permanent faculty is made up of prestigious scholars and practitioners including Matthew Azeved, Dr. Lanier Sammons, and Dr. Brandon Vaccaro.

  • Music technology laboratory (containing state-of-the-art Apple workstations with MIDI keyboards)
