Expertise
Mitochondrial, Neuromuscular and Cardiac disorders; Muscle Diseases
Research Interests
Yuho Kim’s laboratory uses a combination of molecular, functional and imaging analyses to (1) understand the underlying mechanisms in the development of various diseases such as neuromuscular disorders, cardiac disorders, and muscle diseases, and (2) identify the preventive and therapeutic efficacies of multiple treatments (e.g., drug delivery, gene therapy, and exercise) using cell and animal models.
