We are proud to celebrate Psychology student Amina Ibrahim, who was invited to serve as a keynote panelist for “Office Hours for Professors: A Keynote Conversation with Students at the Margins of Higher Education” at the New England Conference for Teachers of Psychology (NECTOP) this October.
This special keynote session — facilitated by our Undergraduate Program Co-coordinator Hannah M. Johnson, Ph.D. — brought together educators and students to explore how psychology instructors can better understand and support today’s increasingly diverse student body. The panel featured three students and recent graduates sharing their personal insights and experiences navigating higher education from the margins.
In recognition of her thoughtful contributions to this important dialogue, Amina received an honorarium for her participation.
Congratulations to Amina on this well-deserved opportunity to share her voice and perspective, and to Hannah Johnson for leading such a meaningful conversation that is shaping the future of psychology education across New England.
