The Department of Psychology is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of two of our doctoral students, Jack Blake and Leyla Fanning Tacoaman, who were recently recognized for their exceptional research contributions at the 2025 Massachusetts Professionals in Behavior Analysis (BABAT) Conference. Jack and Leyla are also alums of our master of science in Applied Behavior Analysis & Autism Studies program.
Jack was awarded the Student Paper Award for his insightful work “Take Five: Experimental and Multilevel Analyses of Productivity in a Medical Data Entry Task Using Productivity-Contingent and Productivity-Noncontingent Break Schedules."
Leyla took home the Best Poster Award for her research, "Assessment of Verbal Behavior in Emergent Bilingual Learners with Autism."
Both awards were presented at the BABAT 2025 Annual Conference, held earlier this month in Worcester. The event brought together leading professionals, researchers, and students in the field of behavior analysis from across the region
