With graduation now behind them, many college seniors are setting their sights on graduate school. Psychology majors are heading into programs in clinical psychology, counseling, and public relations as they take the next step toward their career goals.
Jack Bouche will be pursuing a PsyD in School and Counseling Psychology at Rivier University, where he will build on his strong academic foundation and impressive clinical experience. During his time at UMass Lowell, as a Behavior Technician and Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Jack worked effectively with both children and adults, consistently earning praise for his warmth, professionalism, and insight. He is also a valued contributor to our department’s research initiatives on the assessment of well-being.

Adrian Castro is completing his PsyD at Springfield College, marking the culmination of years of dedicated academic and clinical training. His thoughtful approach to client care and his deep commitment to the mental health field have made him a standout member of our community. Adrian exemplifies the kind of reflective, compassionate clinician our department is proud to help launch into the profession.

Will Cole-French has accepted full funding to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology at the University of Wyoming. Raised in Vietnam and later in a low-income Massachusetts neighborhood, Will brings unmatched intelligence, humility, and emotional maturity to everything he does—from research and clinical work to supporting underserved communities. He is widely regarded, like other students at UMass Lowell, as very promising.

Christie Delanois is continuing her studies at Boston University, where she will earn her Master’s in Public Relations. Known for her cultural insight, communication skills, and leadership—especially in co-hosting Caribbean Night at UMass Lowell—Christie has a passion for amplifying diverse voices through strategic storytelling. Her psychology background and creative energy make her uniquely prepared to shape powerful narratives in today’s media landscape.

Alan Quinn is heading to Fordham University’s PhD program in Counseling Psychology, where he will bring his extraordinary blend of intellectual rigor, clinical experience, and personal resilience. A former construction worker turned Honors student, Alan earned a 3.9 GPA while contributing to cutting-edge research on personality pathology, memory bias, and mental health during the pandemic. His work ethic, empathy, and insight make him one of the most inspiring and accomplished graduates of our program.

Rodrigo Vazquez, an outstanding online student, has been accepted into the PhD program in Clinical Psychology at the University of Puerto Rico. He distinguished himself through academic excellence, resilience, and deep curiosity, often going beyond course expectations to seek mentorship and refine his understanding of clinical psychology. Rodrigo’s success underscores the strength of our program's commitment to accessible, high-impact education.
