(Hons.), the Indian equivalent of the J.D. and an LL.M. from National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) University of Law, Hyderabad, India, with distinction as a Gold Medalist. His research interests lie at the intersection of law, technology, and society, with a particular focus on data protection, privacy, intermediary and AI developer liability, and cybercrime regulation.
Huzaifa’s recent work examines how machine learning systems rely on publicly available data and the resulting ethical and regulatory implications, as well as the challenges of regulating cloud adoption, artificial intelligence, and digital platforms within existing legal frameworks. He has also written on intermediary liability and digital sovereignty, exploring evolving safe harbor protections in India and beyond. He now seeks to contribute to scholarship that bridges the gap between law and technology in shaping privacy-respecting innovation worldwide.
