Wind Ensemble Concert

The University Wind Ensemble, comprised of some of the finest musicians at the University, performs in concert on Thursday, December 4th, at 8:00PM in Moloney Performing Arts Center Concert Hall.

The concert will feature a corner stone of wind band literature, “Folk Song Suite” by Ralph Vaughan Williams.  Also featured will be “Children’s March” by prolific composer Percy Grainger along with the wind band treatment of Eric Whitacre’s  haunting and beautiful work originally written for choir "October."  The concert will close with a work by Dan Lutz titled “Seeds of Revolution” inspired by the patriots who lit the spark that brought the American Revolution and our nation’s independence.

This concert is free and open to the public.
