Sharon Louden - Blind Dates: New Visual Conversations

“Blind Dates: New Visual Conversations" is an exhibition about connection—fostering relationships through a visual dialogue between artists who have never met. Curated by artist, community builder, and advocate Sharon Louden, the exhibition brings together six pairings of artists from her generous and collaborative community—artists who are givers, advocates, and creators of opportunities for others.

Each pairing begins as a kind of “blind date,” initiated not by shared histories, but by shared values. With no prior knowledge of one another, the artists engage in a visual and verbal exchange to determine what kind of work each artist will pair together to exhibit at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

The artists who are participating in the exhibition are:

Azita Moradkhani and Doris Kapner

Melissa Potter and Katie Shulman

Brian Novatny and Daisy Patton

Princess Simpson Rashing and Austin Thomas

Sharon Louden and Janice Caswell
